It will allow you to discover and enjoy the various landscapes of the Pictons Gulf.
From the Green Venice and its canals, thru the chalky cliffs of the dry marsh, and to the l'Aiguillon Bay, famous for its bouchot-mussels you will visit each day different landscape with great historical wealth.
Visit the Renaissance district in Fontenay le Comte, walk along the quay at Marans, one of the biggest corn-trade harbour in France, some time ago, then you reach La Rochelle and the isle of Re. Stop over in Aix, a small island close to the famous Fort Boyard.
From the busy life in La Rochelle (day and night) to the quiet streets of Aix, bordered with exquisite varieties of holly-hocks and where no cars are allowed you will enjoy an everyday experience of sensations amidst many different landscapes and sites. | - Cycling here is very esasy in theses flat lands 50 to 60 km per day in the average except on the very first day.
